Monadnock Habitat for Humanity Welcomes Four New Members to Board of Directors

New leaders bring expertise in affordable housing, business strategy, technology, and community engagement as affiliate expands homebuilding efforts.

KEENE, N.H. — As Monadnock Habitat for Humanity continues its largest homebuilding initiative in recent years, the organization is pleased to welcome four new members to its Board of Directors. Their appointments strengthen the affiliate's leadership as it works toward building four homes for four local families over the next two years. 

Together, the new board members expand the organization's expertise in affordable housing, business strategy, technology, real estate, fundraising, and partner family support. Their leadership comes at an exciting time as Monadnock Habitat grows its volunteer base, increases community partnerships, and works to build more affordable homeownership opportunities throughout the Monadnock Region. 

"We're entering an exciting chapter for Monadnock Habitat," said Matt Keenan, President of the Board of Directors. "These individuals bring outstanding experience, fresh ideas, and a deep commitment to our mission. Their leadership will help us build more homes, engage more volunteers, and create lasting opportunities for families throughout the Monadnock Region." 

Kathleen Lamendola

Kathleen Lamendola is an Affordable Housing Program Manager with Southwestern Community Services and a longtime real estate professional dedicated to helping individuals and families find stable, affordable housing. She serves as Secretary of the Board and is an active member of Habitat's Partner Family Relations and Fundraising Committees. Kathleen believes that when families have a safe, stable place to call home, entire communities thrive.

Raleigh Ormerod

 Raleigh Ormerod brings executive leadership experience spanning Fortune 500 companies including Stanley Black & Decker, Rain Bird, Procter & Gamble, and Colgate-Palmolive. Throughout his career he has led more than 100 product launches, earned multiple patents, and held leadership roles in business strategy, financial management, education, and public service. A former Keene City Councilor and School Board member, Ormerod looks forward to helping guide Monadnock Habitat's continued growth and long-term sustainability. 

Christina Perkins

Christina Perkins combines more than 25 years of leadership in healthcare technology with a growing passion for affordable housing and community service. Since moving to Keene in 2024, she has become an active volunteer with Habitat's Partner Family Committee, helping select and mentor future homeowners, while also volunteering with the Monadnock Humane Society. Perkins brings expertise in product management, operations leadership, data analytics, and organizational strategy. 

Brittany Lehr

Brittany Lehr is a Solution Architect specializing in the Salesforce platform, where she helps organizations use technology to strengthen collaboration and impact. Her career has spanned education, technology, insurance, and international development, giving her a strategic and globally informed perspective. A lifelong supporter of Habitat for Humanity, she now serves on Monadnock Habitat's Partner Family Committee, helping guide future homeowners through their journey while supporting the organization's mission to expand access to affordable housing across the region. 

Since 1991, Monadnock Habitat for Humanity has partnered with local families, volunteers, businesses, and donors to create affordable homeownership opportunities through volunteer labor, donated materials, financial education, and zero-interest mortgages. The organization is currently constructing two single-family homes on Old Walpole Road while advancing plans for a two-family duplex in Keene, providing safe, affordable homes for four families over the next two years. 

"We're building much more than houses," Keenan added. "We're building stronger families, stronger neighborhoods, and a stronger Monadnock Region. These new board members will help ensure we can continue that work for years to come."
