There are Many Ways to Get Involved with Monadnock Habitat for Humanity.

Everything we accomplish is a direct result of the efforts of our volunteers. No matter your skills or experience, you can help build simple, decent, affordable homes to help local families. Our volunteers develop new skills, make new friends, and have fun while improving the lives of others.

By volunteering with Monadnock Habitat for Humanity, you can be a part of the change you want to see in your community. We offer several opportunities to build or repair homes with families. You can even invite your friends and family to join us.

All skill levels and abilities are needed for home builds, small weekend projects, behind-the-scenes organizers, coordinators and possibly even a spot on the board of directors!

There is never any cost to volunteer, but you will be greatly rewarded with appreciative smiles and the satisfaction of helping others!

Age Limits

All ages are welcome to volunteer, however no one under the age of 16 is allowed on an active construction site (with the exception of the Partner Family members who are limited to non-construction areas like the registration tent or lunch break areas). Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, teacher or other responsible adult (no drop-offs!), and complete a “waiver of liability form” signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Special requests made in advance for groups under age 16 will be considered for approval by the Board of Directors and Volunteer Coordinator(s). A dedicated work day during the week may be accommodated when there are no other adult volunteers or contractors working, and if there are tasks that can be performed safely (tidying up the site, organizing materials, painting, raking, making signs/posters, making snacks, making house warming gifts, etc.). Supervision by an appropriate number of adult chaperones per the number of kids is required, along with signed waivers.
