As part of the mission to make sure that everyone has a safe, decent and affordable place to live, we can provide necessary home repairs as part of our Small Home Repair Program so homeowner’s can continue living safely in their home. Repairs completed by MHFH may be either exterior or interior improvements that address health and safety concerns or code violations. We will work with the homeowner to determine the type of repairs and/or modifications that will best meet the needs of the home occupants.
MHFH aims to assist homeowners who are affected by disability, age or family circumstance to complete much-needed home repairs. Eligible families must earn between 30-60 percent of the Area Median Income as determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. **See chart below for Income Guidelines**
Small Home Repair is for existing homeowners, Habitat can provide home repairs necessary to continue living safely and affordably in your own home. Eligible families must earn below 80% of the area median income; these guidelines are determined by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development each year.
